OBS!
Day one;
after assembly; and it's also the day when we welcome our new principle!
back to the point. took a bus down to punggol jetty. saw canberra secondary settling down. omg and I freaking saw my primary school friends too!- Joel, roman, Yanto, Hazwan, Yazrin and the list goes on....Hazwan was literally noisy!
after our goodbyes to Ms Nicole teo, we took a boat down to Camp 2 and assembly at the parade square where we are divide into group. My turn out to be LIVINGSTON, actually its spell without the E.. Well it doesn't really matter. LIVINGSTONE STILL ROCK LIKE A BIG STONE! Our instructor was Florence. she's really awesome(:
afterwhich we went to check out the store which kept all the things needed for this camp. By the way we are in mobile. had our lunch, Orea and moochly bars...and we are off to start the activities. played this caterpillar game, that's funny. next was a trusting game. *you will only know what is trust when you have been through it* Amazing. BELAYING. This really fun and I learn a new skill and the road of trust increases. got to work with the three guys, as it's 4 to a group.. aiyayya, the group members are Kamilah, Sharon, Pei wen, Irsyirah, Jannah, Bennie, Akmal, Adrian from Changkat Changi Secondary and Cherlynn, Alyssa, Shao Chen, Amanda Deborah, Angie, Michelle and me from IJ!
after belaying we went to pack our bags for the next few days when we are going to camp out. When that's done. we learn how to pitch the tents, which will be our beds for the next four nights. DINNER. we got to do outdoor cooking, had rice, bake beans and hot dogs. knew how to cook rice without a rice cooker. We had our bathe and light off was 11pm.

Day Two.
woke up at 5.30am! unpitch the tent and finish off with the packing of the bags. wore our harness and we went to meet Florence. hah was early as usual. Got to sing a morning song. what's better singing a song when we are all so sleepy. just great. it's goes

and we move on the climb the oldest rock wall build in OBS. it's in a shape of a pyramid. was being belay by Shao Chen(: all of us manage to reach the top. three cheers for Livingstone!
next we did KAYAKING. first we are brief about the boat and did different kind of strokes with the double-bladed paddle on land before up loading the boat. pair up with cher and we are off to practice kayaking on water. did capsizing, rescuing and rafting up. end off by kayaking to camp one where we will camp for the night. after carrying and arranging the boats and uploaded the bags, we went to pitch our tent and bathe. how nice to be clean! and it's dinner time. it was being serve, had rice, chicken, vegetables and soup if i'm not wrong. pretty yummi. after dinner we went to assemble at the 'hall' where we had a briefing about the Sea Expedition we are going to have for the next two days. Hah was like half awake. I can't help it after using so much of my energy. but was actually listening when it was Florence turn to brief us. don't know why. soon after the briefing we went for super, it turn out the be green bean soup. none of us feel like eating and went straight to sleep. haha practically was the first group to turn in for the night.

Day 3.
woke up as usual and unpitch the tents again. had breakfast and went to residential 'house' to get climbing equipment. #$^%&!%!!! they actually have double-decker beds and cupboard and two toilets. after exploding the residential area, we did rope course at the INDIANA! saw the OBS dog while was resting. so adorable... when we are done with the Indiana, we got change into our wet suit and had lunch before heading out for our sea expedition. Kazoo for 2 and a half hours to our 3 camp side. Upload the bags and carrying the boats up the hills of rocks. Can just drop dead uploading and loading those kayaking boats. Settle down at this area fills trees and stone with grass. Where we pitch our tents and had dinner. This time was Maggie nooldes and curry! wash up and good nights. oh yah. Got to wake up at 2.30am! to do centre duty with Alyssa, shao chen and Angie looking out for wild pig. was kinda of scare. kept reminding myself not to shine the light at the trees and hitting the floor with the camping sticks. yah! saw one wild pig in the late afternoon when we are pitching the tents- it was really fat! HAHAH. the funny thing about centre duty was we though the guy snoring was the wild pig! 30minutes of duty and we are done, passing the next duty to the next tent. there was people singing at night too lar! damn scary..

Day 4
woke up at 5plus. unpitch the tents, had breakfast and we upload the bags and the boats. wow, was really tired after the uploading the boats. but we still got to carrying on with the Sea Expedition. kayak the remaining 3/4 of Pulau Ubin. did it in 7 and a half hours. was really tired in the end. and through out the journey was pissed off by the hitting into other boats, trying to get in the correct direction, etc. the worst thing was sea water went into my eye and it's like I was tearing for 3hours or so without proper vision. BUT we all pull through! WE DID IT CHERLYNN!!! through this, I realise the going through the physical and mental ruggedness and the challenge to overcome the shouting to your friends. Sorry to those I shout. actually there was a point when I got really piss with cher sorry! I Still Love You. and really glad to have you as my kayak partner! You did great(: yah! Got tanned! yay.
with the end of the Sea expedition. we wash the boats and put it back to the self. All the four groups form a big circle to announce the success of this Sea Expedition. did cheers and we are off to pack up. back to the store and watch the bags and stuff. pitch the the tents and had our dinner. Finally had our bathe after two days. FINALLY. and it's chit chat all the way to 10plus before turning in.

Day 5
this time we could sleep in a little more. as usual we unpitch our tents for the last time and pack up the store and had our breakfast. Did a trust activity- of the jump off the step and hit the bell while your team mates catch you and saying out your com*****. the last time we will sit in a circle, Florence announce the end of our OBS and that's the OBS journey will only start when we have the first step onto Singapore. just hate the end of such journey, only make me all teary, remind me of Japan trip too... Assembly at the shelter with the other groups. took pictures and the last speech by Florence. soon it's goodbyes. was the second last school to leave. took the boat back to punggol jetty.

Missing OBS. how I wish I can go for OBS rather than study. they should create an OBS school!
This experience enable me to learn many insights about myself and acquire new skills. The best of all having the experience and knowing whenever i undergo failure and can look back at OBS. knowing the resources needed to survive. In the real world, the resource being friends, so on. thats I can do things but with friends it will be Undescribable Great.
